While The Fast Franchise releasing it’s 8th film- The Fate of the Furious, the fans remember Paul Walker and his tragic death on November 30th, 2013. Universal Studios pursued an accelerated release for the Furious 7, and even changed the director to James Wan in place of Justin Lin. Lin didn’t comply with the faster release in July 11th, 2014, and that’s just over a year after the Furious 6 release.
Unfortunately, with the shocking death of Paul Walker the release of the film delayed and released on April 3rd, 2015. Some says Furious 7 made it big with the death of Paul, but with that tragic accident the Furious production team had to undergo a severe problem. The film was half way through and the production team was nowhere to decide what to do with the sequences already filmed. However, Cody Walker- Paul’s younger brother finished the rest of the scenes and applaud to the Furious 7 crew that they really made it big on completing the film with great finishing. It was very hard on Furious 7 crew, getting Cody on board. The fans wouldn’t love that on reaching out to Walker’s family and friends even among the F&F cast and team. That would leave the film’s release on a hiatus situation but Cody Walker came forward.
A Tribute to Paul
The Fast and The Furious Films remind about a strong bond of family. Dom (Vin Diesel) created a crew, made them a family with strong bondage! The audience must have been felt that as well. It hurts when Paul Walker is not on the film, it hurts to realize he is no more. November 30th, 2013 was a big blow for Paul’s family, friends, Fast Crew and the fans. May Paul Rest In Peace and we would see him again someday somewhere.
